Panda Royale

Every year, the seven panda clans gather to celebrate their many years of peace and prosperity. After all the celebrations, performances, and games, the Elders organize the annual competition in which the bravest pandas gather to fight for honor and glory. Each panda clan has its own powers and abilities, and the Elders carefully weigh these skills when forming their teams with members from each clan. 

In the role of one of the panda Elders, you will choose pandas from the seven clans (represented by seven colors of dice) to join your team. Each panda clan will bring unique skills to your team, so choose wisely with a view to achieving the highest score over 10 rounds.

Designed by Nate Jenne and Jake Jenne, Panda Royale can be enjoyed by pairs or groups of up to 10 players, ages 8 and up, in sessions lasting 20 to 30 minutes. Throughout the game, players will try to score the most points after several rounds of rolling dice of different values. After adding up the scores from the 10 rounds, the player with the most points wins.

In the first round, players will only roll one die and write down its value. In each subsequent round, they will add a new die to their reserve, until the last round, where everyone will roll 10 dice. Depending on their color, the dice have different abilities. For example, purple dice have eight sides and double their value, green dice have the most sides (20), and white dice allow you to trade dice with other players (who cannot refuse).

Easy and intuitive to learn, the challenge in Panda Royale is knowing which dice to choose after each round to have the best chance of scoring more points. However, luck will also be a determining factor, as each roll of the dice is unpredictable. Are you ready to lead your panda clan to victory?
