In Black Forest, you start with a small estate that needs new buildings and livestock. You will travel from town to town seeking the help of the best professionals and take advantage of their skills to collect resources, compose landscapes (ponds, fields, etc.) and construct various buildings, divided into four types:

· Buildings with immediate and unique effects.

· Processing buildings.

· Buildings with a continuous effect.

· Final score buildings.

The wide variety of buildings and their different effects offer many alternatives for achieving victory.

In addition, you will manage your resources and their production with the resource wheels on your player board. This well-known mechanic, which is also part of the game Glass Road, is now integrated into a “worker placement” game to continue its story.
