Recreate Frodo's perilous journey to cast the One Ring into the fires of Mount Doom and defeat the dark powers of Sauron. Assemble a team of faithful companions and advance with the Fellowship of the Ring across Middle-earth, passing through mythical locations from The Lord of the Rings. Created by Michael Rieneck and illustrated by Aleksander Karcz, The Lord of the Rings: Adventure to Mount Doom can be enjoyed alone or in groups of up to 4 players, ages 10 and up. In this family-friendly cooperative game, everyone works together to take Frodo and Sam to Mount Doom. If the Ring-bearer reaches Mount Doom, all players win the game.

Each turn, players roll dice to determine the spaces their figures move and also to discover the dangers they will face. When the Fellowship loses battles or is unable to overcome dangers during the journey, the bearer's will will wane. This will is expressed on the courage track on the board. If at any point the marker on the courage track reaches the bottom, the players will lose the game.

Throughout the game, players will travel through mythical locations from The Lord of the Rings, such as Rivendell, Lothlórien, Rohan, Isengard, Helm's Deep, and Minas Morgul. Each stage has different challenges, but the Fellowship will also find allies along the way who will help them overcome battles or increase the Ring-bearer's courage.

Quest to Mount Doom is a very versatile game, adapting to the playing group with variations that make games easier or more difficult with very few changes. However, a balanced dose of luck (for the dice rolls) and teamwork will always be necessary to successfully complete the adventure. Immerse yourself in the epic fantasy universe created by JRR Tolkien and recreate the journey of Frodo and the Fellowship of the Ring!
