The legend of the Golem is one of the world's most fascinating stories and is rooted in Jewish tradition. In Golem, this story inspires a complex, strategic game in which you take on the role of a scholar trying to recreate the famous clay automatons.

Use your Knowledge (represented by the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, "Aleph") to study ancient Books, obtain Gold and smelt it to create powerful Artifacts, bring the tireless Golems to life and send them out into the city to perform important tasks. You'll need to maintain control of your Golems by spending the Knowledge you've acquired and through your Students. You also have the option of killing your Golems to avoid paying their upkeep costs.

The 3D Synagogue brings a dynamic element of chance to the available actions, Golem management offers an intriguing innovation in worker placement, and the player board can be developed in numerous ways to offer a wide variety of possible strategies.
