For millennia, the kingdom of the dwarves lived in peace. But nothing lasts forever in the wild and frozen lands of the kingdom of Nidavellir. Tranquility soon gave way to a sinister threat, hellish flames tore through the sky, and a horrible roar shook the foundations of the dwarf cities. Far away, in the dark and lost regions of the continent, an evil thought to be forgotten was reawakening.

Confined centuries ago by an alliance between wizards and dwarves, Fafnir “the Ruthless” had managed to break free, eager for revenge: to plunder and burn everything in his path. And like any cunning thief would do, he would start where the gold had been piled up with the greatest greed: the kingdom of the dwarves!

As the venerable Elvaland, a respected member of the council and war chief, you have been sent by the king on a mission to assemble an army capable of confronting and defeating this bloodthirsty monster. Visit every tavern in the kingdom, hire the most skilled dwarves, recruit the most prestigious heroes, and create the best battalion you can to defeat your deadly enemy. Be quick, but above all, don't be afraid to spend, for the king will reward the best of all the Elvalands but will also punish those who have only assembled an army of poor devils.
