The Havoc, a terrifying fiery entity, has formed a powerful army of fire elementals. Burning everything in its path, the trail of ash it leaves behind clearly points to its destination: the heart of Sylvion. As the sole guardian of the forest, you must stop this incendiary power! Choose your best defenders, deploy them at the most opportune moment to extinguish the terrifying flames, and save the forest from the Oniverse.
Designed by Shadi Torbey and illustrated by Élise Plessis, Sylvion is a card game to be enjoyed alone or with another person in co-op mode, for ages 10 and up, offering games lasting approximately 30 minutes. Set in the same thematic framework as the famous Onirim, this time the objective is to protect the forest from the flames: if its vitality reaches 0 at any time, the game ends in defeat.
Sylvion is a tower defense game in which attacks from fire beings occur in four rows and in waves. You'll build a deck using a unique selection process and play cards from your hand, paying their cost with other cards in your hand. Your allies include fountains and trees, which serve as shields against the destructive power of the flames, as well as animals, which grant you instant effects. When all the waves are over, you must have kept Sylvion's heart green, or else the entire forest of the Oniverse will be destroyed.
Additionally, the box includes two expansions: "Extraordinary Feats and Betrayal" and "The Elements." Both offer new ways to play and win, while increasing the challenge that Sylvion represents. Both expansions can be played independently or together. The game also includes a small appendix to increase the difficulty.
Sylvion shares a thematic universe with Onirim, Cyberion, and Urbion, the so-called Oniverse, also published by Devir. What makes Sylvion special is that it combines a unique selection system with tower defense-style gameplay. After waves of fire, can you keep your forest green?
