Across the regions of the island of Mallorca, there are vast estates—also known as fincas—waiting for new owners. In this game, you’ll compete against other farmers and fishermen to claim these estates, and to do so, you’ll need to gather as much food as possible, load it onto your cart, and race to be the first to complete deliveries to the island’s communities, whose orders are constantly changing. This new edition of Finca retains the resource-gathering and delivery mechanics that made this title a classic among modern board games, but features new illustrations, simplified rules, and the ability to play with up to 5 players.

Designed by Wolfgang Sentker and Ralf zur Linde, the new artwork is by Vincent Dutrait and Joan Guardiet. It supports games for groups of 2 to 5 players, ages 10 and up, lasting about 45 minutes. To win in Finca, you must earn the maximum number of victory points by gathering Mallorcan resources and distributing them among different municipalities on the island.

Round after round, players will collect resources from a rondel. First, they will move their farmers as many spaces as there are tokens on their starting space; then, they will take the resource indicated on the space they land on, as many times as there are farmers on that space. This creates very interesting situations with many variables that affect both the player themselves and the other players.

With the relevant resources, players can make deliveries to fulfill the requirements of the different regions, thereby accumulating victory points. Additionally, once all the requirements for a region are met, the player who has delivered the most of the resource indicated on their estate tile is rewarded with an estate in that region (and that’s usually a lot of points!). The game ends when the last estate tile is placed on the board.

This edition also includes two mini-expansions for advanced gameplay. On one hand, there is the expansion that adds bonus tiles, which reward players for completing orders of different values. On the other hand, there is the action tile expansion, which enhances players’ actions at specific moments in the game. Ready to become the most renowned farmer in Mallorca?
