Sunrise Sunset

In Sunrise Sunset, two gods clash for control of the solar cycle.

Two players duel: one embodies Horus, god of light and the sky, and the other Seth, god of darkness and chaos. The battle unfolds across three arenas—the world of the living (Deshret), the underworld (Duat), and the Solar Barge (Mandjet)—representing the different phases of the Sun's journey.

In turns, each player places cards in one of the three locations until they have two cards per side in each, for a total of 12 cards in play. At the end of each turn, the battles are resolved: winning grants control of an area, and if you already control it, you inflict one point of damage on your opponent. The game ends when one player manages to inflict three points of damage and is declared the winner.

The cards possess different powers and abilities; some are even played face down, concealing your strategy and adding tension to the confrontation. A thorough understanding of each card will allow you to anticipate moves and make better decisions. The rules include a summary of skills to facilitate tracking during the game.
