Tembo

In Tembo (the Swahili word for elephant), you and the other players lead a herd of elephants on a journey across the savanna. Reaching your destination is the only way to win, but the path is fraught with challenges. You'll have to search for food and water, traverse changing terrain, and avoid the ferocious lions that roam the region.

This cooperative game, illustrated by Vincent Dutrait, can be enjoyed solo or in groups of up to 4 players, ages 10 and up, in games lasting between 30 and 45 minutes.

On each turn, players choose a card from their hand to expand the savanna or advance the herd. Each card has a dual function, and each player's position on the table determines how they can use it, creating a puzzle that you must solve together. The game continues until the herd reaches its destination or the players lose due to hunger, running out of cards, or the lions capturing the herd.

In Tembo, every journey is different. Each game presents new challenges that require careful planning and constant communication to guide the pack to victory.
