In this expansion for Carcassonne, our beautiful region is under attack. Place your followers in different defensive positions and earn points for doing so. Keep in mind that if you don't contribute enough to the defence, you may lose some areas.

War is raging in Carcassonne! The Sieges and Fortresses box includes 18 new territory tiles with siege symbols, which ultimately lead to attacks on the citadel. It also adds two double fortress tiles, where players must assign their workers to defensive positions. You will also find three catapult pawns, which will attack cities, roads, and monasteries, and 12 normal follower pawns, two per player, which are added to the pool of available workers.

Compatible with any Carcassonne module, this expansion adds a certain degree of tension to the game, as in addition to seeking the best score according to the criteria of the base game, players must devote their efforts to protecting the citadel if they do not want to lose tiles that would give them points in the future.
