Wield your sword, for Middle-earth needs you! Fire and Swords expands the experience of the base game of War of the Ring - The Card Game. This second major expansion (which requires the base game to play) broadens the strategic possibilities and introduces a variant that allows up to six players to play, thus increasing the scale of the battle for the fate of the One Ring.

The expansion box includes 60 faction cards, 9 new paths, 9 new battlefields, and 13 skirmishes, a new type of encounter representing key towns and locations in the War of the Ring, such as the Fords of Isen or Bree. Thanks to these elements, players will experience more varied and tactically rich conflicts.

In addition, the expansion adds three new factions that reinforce the diversity of the game. On the side of the Free Peoples, the Northmen appear, while the Orientals and Ruffians join the Shadow. These expand the repertoire of strategies and generate novel combinations that bring freshness to each game.

The essence of Fire and Swords lies in taking the epic nature of the base game further, adding layers of complexity and new ways to recreate the key moments of the War of the Ring. Each scenario offers a different challenge, enhancing replayability and thematic immersion.
