In this fast-paced card game, you have to think quickly! On your turn, place the top card from your deck face-up onto one of the three discard piles. Then, call out the characteristic that appears most frequently across the top cards of the three piles—whether it’s an animal, a color, nothing at all, or "Dodelido." It sounds easier than it actually is, especially since the slow turtle and the hungry crocodile add a bit of a twist! The player who makes the fewest mistakes wins!

Dodelido can be played by two people or in groups of up to six players, ages eight and up, with games lasting about 15 minutes. This test of visual agility challenges you to be the first to run out of cards by correctly identifying a shared characteristic among the cards in the discard piles.

Both children and adults will have a blast playing Dodelido. To start, deal an equal number of cards to each player, who should keep them face-down in their hand. Players then take turns placing the top card from their deck onto the corresponding discard pile (there are three piles, and cards are added one by one in a clockwise direction).

Finally, the active player must announce the animal or color characteristic that appears most often across the cards in the three piles. If there is no majority, the player must say "Dodelido." If a turtle appears, the player must say "Oh!"—and if a crocodile appears, all players must cover it with their hand. If a player makes a mistake, they must take all the cards from the discard piles into their own hand, and a new round begins.
